Veterinarian Performing Surgery on Pet
It can be scary, but when it’s needed…

In the event that your pet needs surgery, our doctors have extensive experience in routine surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering as well as more complex soft-tissue surgery such as foreign object removal and massremovals. Our staff of compassionate, caring professionals will monitor your pet before, during, and after surgery and will take exceptional care of your pet to ensure your they have a safe and complete recovery.

Any questions or concerns you may have about surgery, including concerns about anesthesia, pain management, or postoperative care will be addressed by the doctor prior to surgery. The doctor and staff will keep in contact with you during the day in regards to postoperative recovery, scheduling a time to pick up your pet and any other information that might be relevant. When your pet is ready to go home, we will review his/her postoperative care and medication instructions.

We perform a variety of pre-anesthetic tests to carefully screen patients to ensure your pet is healthy for anesthesia, and we tailor our anesthetic protocol specifically for your pet on each individual case. We use specialized equipment that measures blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and respiratory rate. We monitor your pet before, during, and after anesthesia and will take time to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have about the medications, monitoring, and care your pet will receive.
